Qualifications

• JD degree with six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Bar membership and needed licenses.
• Experience working with cybersecurity, network security, public safety, consumer protection or law enforcement communities.
• Proven track record successfully engaging complex technical issues, ideally involving the communications industry.
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and evaluating state, federal and international policy developments.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal business and technology leaders and external stakeholders.
• Representing Verizon before FCC, other government agencies, Congress, and industry bodies.
• Managing Verizon's participation in collaborations with government and private sector stakeholders on information sharing and best practices.
