Job summary

Verizon seeks an energetic, business-minded attorney to join the Legal organization. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume docket focusing on cybersecurity, privacy, and consumer fraud, including SIM swap and unauthorized port-out matters, handling arbitrations in-house and reducing outside counsel spend.

You will partner with ISO, product teams, and business units to mitigate risk, drive cost reductions, and advance secure, compliant practices across Verizon's enterprise platforms

Qualifications

• JD degree and six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Prior litigation experience.
• Bar membership and required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume docket of SIM swap arbitrations in-house, including Motions to Compel and final hearings.
• Conduct post-mortems on concluded cases to identify vulnerabilities and recommend process changes.
• Collaborate with Information Security Office to identify weaknesses and pursue fixes.
• Track litigation trends and metrics for caseload forecasting and budgeting.
• Manage outside counsel on VBG disputes and vendor contracts to recover value.
