Job summary

Boston College’s Initiative on Land, Housing & Property Rights seeks a Policy Associate to advance the Lab’s reform and policy work on land and housing issues. You will work under the Policy Director and collaborate with staff to develop local, state, and federal policy proposals that improve outcomes for disadvantaged communities.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical ability and experience in policy research and writing.
  • Ability to translate policy analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders in housing or land policy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor housing and real property policies at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Conduct independent research on legal reform and policy projects and stakeholders.
  • Draft policy reports, briefs, and analyses for diverse audiences.
  • Support development of legal reform and policy proposals at multiple levels.
  • Help create policy-related presentations for conferences and forums.
