Job summary

The Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) is seeking a self-motivated Policy Associate to join the Center for Policy and Practice. You will work on an assigned portfolio of community college policy initiatives and grants, coordinating activities across multiple projects to advance our mission of linking policy and practice for members and students.

ACCT supports public community, technical and junior colleges in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Experience with policy development or higher education policy is preferred.
  • Experience with grants management is a plus.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support assigned policy initiatives across projects.
  • Coordinate activities across the Center for Policy and Practice.
  • Support policy implementation and evaluation.

The Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) is seeking a self-motivated Policy Associate to join the dynamic Center for Policy and Practice team to work on an assigned portfolio of community college policy initiatives and grants with responsibility for activities across a range of projects that contribute to the Center's mission to bring policy and practice together in serving our members and students.

The Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) is a non-profit membership educational organization comprised of over 500 governing boards and over 6000 trustees who govern public community, technical and junior colleges across the U.S. and abroad. ACCT's Center for Policy and Practice helps solve challenges facing community colleges through practical solutions, informed policy development, and policy implementation.
