The position reports to the Policy and Compliance Director and involves leading policy research, NBPP updates, and cross-unit collaboration to ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience
  • Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience
  • Four years of related professional experience
  • Note: Some positions may require a certification or licensure. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update program policies for the implementation and ongoing operations of the state-based exchange Georgia Access.
  • Provide technical policy advice to all business units related to consumer eligibility and enrollment, appeals, and partner programs.
  • Review updates to policies and assist in developing policy agendas meeting Georgia Access goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Lead in researching and analyzing information to draft policy proposals for leadership or NBPP updates.
  • Support the NBPP commentary reflecting Georgia Access positions on regulatory guidance.
  • Assist with drafting the Georgia Access Annual Report highlighting goals, enrollment efforts, and metrics.
  • Coordinate with eligibility and enrollment teams and the Administrative Procedure Division on consumer eligibility appeals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
