Job summary

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) seeks a Legislative Analyst to support the Director's Office as part of a team delivering essential administrative services across state government.

You will analyze legislation, coordinate inquiries, prepare policy analyses and correspondence, manage constituent requests, and assist with hearings and the DTMB FOIA program, collaborating with DTMB leadership and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major.
• No specific type or amount of experience required for Departmental Analyst 9.
• One year of professional experience for DA 10.
• Two years of professional experience for DA P11, including one year at the intermediate (10) level.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legislation and coordinate legislative inquiries.
• Research and prepare policy analyses and correspondence.
• Manage constituent requests and support legislative hearings.
• Assist with administration of the DTMB FOIA program.
• Prepare DTMB leadership to advise on legislative strategy and present to the legislature.
