The Council of State Governments (CSG) East seeks a Policy Analyst, Health and Education, to connect and inform members on policy issues. You will foster peer communities, develop robust programming, and build trusted, nonpartisan resources for public officials across the Eastern region.

Ideal candidates communicate well, collaborate across teams, and translate complex policy details into clear insights. Some travel to events is anticipated.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in health and/or education policy preferred.
• Ability to conduct policy research and prepare concise analyses.

Mansioni

• Staff health and education policy committees and plan activities.
• Develop policy programming reflecting regional interests and issues.
• Build relationships with members, partners, and officials across the region.
• Prepare reports, briefs, blogs and other materials for dissemination.
• Support outreach, events, and travel related to policy forums.
• Translate policy ideas into actionable guidance for members.
