Job summary

The Bend Police Department is seeking a Wellness Administrator to lead and sustain the department’s Wellness Program, promoting physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing for all personnel. This full-time, exempt role reports to department leadership and participates in program design, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities include coordinating funding, contracts, and partnerships; overseeing peer support and crisis response; and communicating program progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience as outlined in this job description

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate the Wellness Program for the Bend Police Department.
  • Identify funding sources, manage budgets, grants, and contracts; coordinate with leadership on reporting.
  • Perform ongoing assessments to identify wellness needs and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Provide on-scene crisis support and coordinate referrals with external clinicians.
  • Oversee peer support team and align training with the Training Division.
  • Develop communications, attendances, and inventory processes for health resources.
