The Secure Transport Investigations Unit (Maryland Department of Health Police) seeks a front line supervisor to oversee Police Officer I and II staff. You will conduct criminal and internal investigations, managerial inquiries, and handle patient abuse allegations with fairness and impartiality, requiring MD Police Training Commission certification and a valid driver's license.

You must have strong investigative, writing, and oral communication skills and will follow the chain of command.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited high school or high school equivalency certificate acceptable to the Maryland State Board of Education as described in the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission regulation.
• Three years of experience as a certified law enforcement officer.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Police Officer I and II staff on investigations and assignments.
• Conduct criminal and internal investigations, as well as managerial inquiries and patient abuse allegations.
• Enforce all applicable federal, state and local laws in a fair and impartial manner; follow the established chain of command.
