Under the supervision of a Police Lieutenant, the Police Sergeant serves as a first-line supervisor responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating the daily activities of an assigned patrol shift or unit. Sergeants provide operational leadership, ensure compliance with Department policies and applicable law, review officer performance, and serve as the on-scene supervisor during routine and critical incidents.
Successful candidates should possess:
Full‑time position. Requires the ability to work various shifts, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends, holidays, emergency response, and call‑back status. Must be capable of performing all essential duties of a Police Officer.
