The City of North Richland Hills is seeking an administrative support specialist to ensure smooth department operations, handling data entry, reports auditing, phone requests, and customer service.
The role involves scanning paperwork, operating office equipment, coordinating with city staff, citizens, and other government agencies; must pass background checks and CJIS/drug screening; requires a high school diploma and 6 months to 1 year of customer service.
The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth and continuing functioning of department operations. This is accomplished by providing numerous administrative and support services for the department personnel. Additional duties include but are not limited to data entry and auditing of all reports, answering telephones, providing customer service, scanning paperwork and facilitating jail releases, operating a variety of computer and office equipment and interacting with other city employees, citizens, and employees of other Government agencies. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
