Job summary

The City of Oxford is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of full-time Police Officer. Lateral entry applicants may receive up to 100% of the pay range based on prior full-time service.

Entry will be at a salary step commensurate with experience. Applicants must have at least three years of full-time police experience in Ohio, a current OPOTA certification, and must be employed or have been employed within the past 365 days.

• At least three years of full-time police experience in Ohio.
• Current OPOTA certification is required.
• Must have been employed within the past 365 days or currently employed as a full-time police officer.
• Written test score is required; physical agility test may be waived for lateral entrants.
