Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and AZPOST certification or complete AZPOST Academy with certification within six months.
• Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board certification is required or must be achieved within three months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol a designated area in a vehicle and/or on foot to deter crime and enforce laws and regulations.
• Respond to calls for service, provide first aid/CPR, and assist at emergency scenes.
• Prepare detailed written incident reports and manage records, warrants, and subpoenas.
• Coordinate with officers, detectives, and supervisors to execute arrests or operations.
• Secure crime scenes, collect and preserve evidence, interview witnesses and victims, and conduct suspect interrogations.
