Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age by completion date of the police academy.
• Lateral hiring considered with potential pay increases based on experience and qualifications.
• Tattoo policy requires tattoos to be covered and not visible during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide full police services including uniform patrol, traffic safety, criminal investigations and community affairs.
• Engage in canine, SWAT, school resource, bike patrol, public affairs and special events as assigned.
• Participate in the selection process steps including written exam, physical agility, oral review and background checks.
