Position: Police Officer

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week – Multiple shifts available

Public Safety Department Highlights
  • Paid training.
  • All uniforms and duty gear are provided.
Minimum Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or a related field (preferred).
  • TCOLE Peace Officer License upon hire (REQUIRED).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 Years Security or law enforcement experience.
  • Driver’s License Class C and insurable upon hire.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training upon hire and maintained annually.
Responsibilities
  • Patrol buildings and grounds for unlocked or secured areas after hours.
  • Provide escorts to and from parking areas.
  • Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property.
  • Pursue and detain persons involved in criminal activity.
  • Complete incident/offense reports and narratives.
  • Interact with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Report and escalate situations as appropriate to the Threat Management team.
