• TCOLE Peace Officer Certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required.
• 2 years of security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week – Multiple shifts available

Here’s What You Need

1. H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
2. Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred
3. 2 Years Security or law enforcement preferred
4. 2 Years Healthcare or education preferred
5. DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable upon hire required
6. TCOLE Peace Officer Certification upon hire required
7. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire required
8. ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 6 Months Required Or
9. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days required And
10. ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 12 Months required

What You Will Do

Performs officer duties to include, but not limited to:

1. Patrols buildings and ground for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry.
2. Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
3. Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
4. Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.
5. Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives.
6. Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors and staff.
7. Reports and escalates situations to the Threat Management team as appropriate.
