Qualifications

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of State Statutes and local ordinances.
• Ability to cope with situations professionally, courteously and tactfully.
• Ability to acquire skill in the use and care of firearms.

Responsabilités

• Respond to police calls and emergencies, off-duty and on-duty.
• Handle arrest situations and procedures; apprehend violators or issue warnings.
• Monitor hazardous roadway conditions; enforce traffic laws; assist motorists.
• Respond to traffic accidents and provide first aid; support other agencies.
• Review investigations, take statements, gather evidence; serve warrants.
• Respond to complaints and calls for assistance; communicate with the public.
• Complete required reports for investigations, accidents, and court preparation.
• Interact with victims, witnesses, survivors, and outside agencies to maintain relations.
• Monitor vehicle condition; request repairs; restock supplies.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Chief of Police.
