Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or vocational training in police sciences, law enforcement, criminal justice, public administration, or related field.
• Completion of basic law enforcement training academy or equivalent.
• Fluent in a second language (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Performs community patrol and enforces parking and traffic laws and city code violations.
• Arrests offenders and transports suspects to jail.
• Provides first response medical treatment at injury scenes and investigates crime and accidents.
