Everett Police Department is seeking high-quality lateral police officers to join a community-oriented department serving over 110,000 residents. Officers patrol by foot, bike, motorcycle, or automobile, engaging with the community to improve safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Requires high school graduation or equivalent.
• Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy completion or equivalent.
• 18 months of full-time paid service as a commissioned officer or 24 months in a civilian jurisdiction with no more than 36 months break.
• Valid Washington State Driver License within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age by application closing date.
• Citizenship or DACA eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas by foot, bike, motorcycle, or car.
• Engage with the community to reduce crime and enhance quality of life.
• Participate in specialty assignments as needed.
