The City of Three Rivers Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Police Officer position in Three Rivers, MI. MCOLES certification is required; however, the City will sponsor qualified non-certified candidates through a MCOLES-approved police academy.

Under general supervision, Police Officers perform professional law enforcement duties to protect life and property through enforcement of laws and ordinances, crime prevention, investigations, and community policing

Formación

• MCOLES certified or certifiable.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
• Respond to calls for service including criminal, traffic, and emergency incidents.
• Conduct preliminary and follow-up investigations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
• Engage in community policing and public interaction.
• Safely operate department vehicles, firearms, and other police equipment.
• Exercise sound judgment under stressful and emergency conditions.
