The City of Three Rivers Fire Department is seeking a full-time Firefighter/EMT-Basic to respond to fire, medical and other emergencies and support prevention programs. Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, MFFTC Fire Fighter I & II, MDHHS EMT-Basic, and a valid Michigan driver’s license; Paramedic license preferred.

Starting salary includes overtime with competitive benefits. The employee must pass background, psychological, medical examinations and drug screening; NFPA 1582

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have MFFTC Fire Fighter I and II certifications.
• MDHHS EMT-Basic license required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license required.
• Must be able to operate all fire and EMS equipment within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical, and other emergency calls.
• Provide emergency medical care per certification level.
• Participate in fire prevention, inspections, and community education.
• Maintain fire stations, apparatus, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in departmental training and continuing education.
• Operate fire and EMS apparatus and equipment safely.
