The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department seeks experienced Police Officers for its School Resource Officer Program. Candidates will provide security in Nashville Elementary Schools. The position requires certification, two years of law enforcement experience, and readiness to work flexible shifts. Salary ranges from $73,024 to $89,810 based on experience and education.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is seeking current Police Officers with two (2) or more years of uninterrupted full time law enforcement experience, having obtained a certification as a law enforcement officer through a State Police Standards and Training Commission. Though we are continuously hiring for laterals, this posting is to specifically accept lateral applications for our School Resource Officer Program. The Metro Nashville Police Department is a 24/7 operation. Employees must be able to work any day and/or shift, as needed.

At least two (2) years as a full-time, certified (Tennessee P.O.S.T. Certification or equivalent State certification) law enforcement officer. No more than 3 years since last break-in service.
