ECU Health Police seeks a dedicated Police Officer to deliver a full spectrum of law enforcement within the ECU Health system, primarily assigned to ECU Health Bertie. You will patrol, investigate incidents, apprehend suspects, and enforce traffic safety to secure the hospital campus and its patients, staff, and visitors.
The role requires completion of basic training, NC certification, and a valid NC driver's license, with shifts that include evenings and rotating weekends.
The Police Officer performs a complete range of law enforcement services for the ECU Police Department. Duties include patrols, criminal apprehension, preliminary and follow-up investigations, traffic enforcement, other tasks that aid in securing the hospital campus. This position is primarily assigned to report and work at ECU Health Bertie, but may be assigned to other ECU Health regions as needed.
