  • Selected applicants must pass a medical examination, psychological testing, and a background investigation.

Job description

Position Summary

The Police Officer performs a complete range of law enforcement services for the ECU Police Department. Duties include patrols, criminal apprehension, preliminary and follow-up investigations, traffic enforcement, and other tasks that aid in securing the hospital campus. This position is primarily assigned to report and work at ECU Health Medical Center but may be assigned to other regions as needed.

Work Schedule & Benefits
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday (5:45 pm – 5:45 am)
  • Required to work rotational weekends
