The City of Midwest City is seeking Police Officers to enforce municipal, state, and federal laws, conduct investigations, testify in court, and respond to incidents on assigned shifts. Under supervision, officers will perform traffic enforcement, arrests, and preliminary investigations in a designated area.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, clean driving record, Oklahoma driver license, CLEET certification, medical clearance, and the ability to pass
The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Police Officers in the Police Department. Under the direct supervision of a Lieutenant, the incumbent performs day to day enforcement of municipal, state and federal laws (including making arrests, working accidents, testifying in court, preliminary investigations, traffic regulations, etc.) in a designated area on an assigned shift. In accordance with any existing labor contract and/or the City Merit System, must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. Must be 21 years of age. Must possess and maintain C.L.E.E.T. certification. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable. Must meet medical requirements set forth by the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
Starting Salary: $60,238-$63,177/Yr. w/Benefits.
