The North County Police Cooperative is actively recruiting Patrol Officers to patrol our cooperative and surrounding cities. The role emphasizes high visibility to preserve public peace, protect life and property, and enforce laws across multiple jurisdictions.

Eligible candidates must be 21+, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a Missouri POST License or be enrolled in an approved Police Academy, keep current CE requirements, have a clean record, and maintain a valid Missouri

The North County Police Cooperative is actively looking to recruit officers into our rapidly growing department. We are a fast paced and active agency with great benefits and pay. We have immediate openings and our hiring process is straight forward and expedited. Our process will be open until filled.

Patrol Officers are responsible for the routine patrol of the North County Police Cooperative. They are responsible for maintaining a high degree of visibility, to preserve the public peace, to secure the protection of life and property, the prevention of crime and the apprehension of law violators. They are responsible for the enforcement of federal, state and municipal ordinances, for serving and protecting the citizens of North County Police Cooperative and visitors to the cities we serve.

Benefits

• Uniforms and Equipment (handgun, duty gear, ballistic vest, etc. More than $8,000.00 per officer)


• 1 week of vacation per year. After completion of probationary status. (Increases with length of service)


• 11 Paid holidays paid in the form of a lump sum in December.

Eligibility

• Be at least 21 years of age by hire date.


• Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent.


• A current Missouri POST License or currently enrolled in a approved Police Academy. (Class A License)


• Current on all continuing education requirements.


• Not have any serious criminal record entries.


• Maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license and safe driving record.


• Have an excellent work history and attendance record.

Eligible Candidates Must:

• Pass an in-depth background check


• Pass a written examination


• Pass a drug test


• Pass a psychological test


• Pass a medical physical
