Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Public Administration or related field required.
• Five years sworn law enforcement experience and Peace Officer certification per Georgia POST.
• One year supervisory or command-level experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.

Responsibilities

• Enforces laws and policies; supervises personnel and evaluates performance.
• Conducts roll calls, briefings, and training; ensures readiness of personnel, equipment, and vehicles.
• Oversees patrol activities and responses to calls for service; manages on-scene command when needed.
• Responds to major incidents and coordinates interagency communications.
• Reviews reports and administrative documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assists with investigations, case review, warrants, and coordination with other agencies.
• Testifies in court as required and maintains proper documentation for prosecution.
• Addresses employee concerns and initiates corrective actions per policy.
• Supports administrative functions including records management and crime analysis.
