Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking qualified Police Dispatchers to join Greenville operations. Dispatchers receive emergency and nonemergency requests, document locations, and coordinate with officers to ensure timely responses.

You may work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on staffing. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong typing and radio communications skills, and familiarity with criminal justice information systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; training may be provided for entry level.
• Typing accuracy and clear radio communication skills required.
• May require prior dispatch work and certifications depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance
• Document incident locations, descriptions, vehicle details, and reported hazards
• Assign calls to available officers according to priority and agency procedures
• Monitor officer status, radio traffic, and requests for assistance
• Relay updates about changing incidents and potential safety concerns
• Conduct authorized records inquiries after training
• Coordinate with neighboring agencies and other emergency services
• Maintain incident records and safeguard restricted information
