Job summary

The City of Auburn Hills Police Department is hiring a Police Cadet for the Support Services Division. This part-time, non-sworn, uniform position exposes Criminal Justice students to police work, training in Community Policing, and Problem Oriented Policing with front desk duties.

Pay is $17.00 per hour. Applicants must be high school graduates or GED; enrolled in a criminal justice program; have a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills. Tobacco use policy applies; EOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent; Criminal Justice students preferred.
• Enrolled in a criminal justice program or related field; preapproval may be required
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record | Working knowledge of computers and data processing
