THE POSITION
5% cost of living increase effective July 2025 and July 2026
This recruitment is being conducted to fill two full-time vacancies in Patrol Operations. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and temporary vacancies for up to one year.
The incumbent will perform civilian law enforcement support work in various divisions: traffic, patrol, evidence and property, or investigations. Responsibilities vary by division, including processing abandoned vehicle notices, investigating non-criminal auto accidents, crime scene processing, evidence handling, and follow-up investigations.

THE CITY OF VALLEJO
Vallejo, located in Solano County with approximately 121,000 residents, is a diverse waterfront community between San Francisco and Sacramento, known for its history, maritime heritage, and attractions like Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
