Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years progressive work experience within criminal justice organization(s).
• Must be eligible to hold a Peace Officer Commission issued by Lamar University Police Department.
• Certification in Taser Instructor, PPCT Instructor, Glock Armorer, Firearms Instructor, NAPDS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LIT’s basic peace officer training course.
• Assist the Academy’s Director in managing daily operations.
• Teach courses, as assigned.
