Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles, focusing on EV/HEV systems and high voltage safety. You will perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to ensure quality repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 2-5 years of automotive service experience, EPA 609 certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to complete Lucid training.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repairKnowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrainsCustomer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS softwareEPA 609 CertificationWillingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hireValid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS)Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.

You will demonstrate your passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. As a Service Technician, it is expected to have ASE certifications obtained within 6-8 months of hire date. Lucid will reimburse the cost associated with successful completion.

Responsibilities:

Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosisMaintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systemsFollow correct repair order documentation procedures, i.e. The Three C'sEffectively work with the appropriate software suite to properly and completely document all customer vehicle interactionsEffectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the service team (i.e., advisor, manager, etc.) as well as customers.Ability to demonstrate and teach learned technical skills/knowledge with othersDemonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiencesAbility to work remotely and support mobile service team as neededOther duties as assigned
