Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a Pole Removal Lineman C to support the safe, efficient removal of non-energized utility poles on de-energized overhead distribution systems. You will operate equipment, handle materials, maintain a safe work environment, and assist with all phases of non-energized work.

The role requires operating bucket trucks and related machinery, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and customer service while supporting Foreman and crew members in pole removal operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Minimum of one year utility construction or overhead line experience.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks or related equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality artistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe removal of existing non-energized utility poles.
• Inspect poles and work areas before removal to identify hazards.
• Assist with excavation, pole extraction, backfilling, and site restoration.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, winches and other equipment during pole removal.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport removed poles, hardware, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements and participate in daily job briefings.
