Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Full-Service Technician to recondition, reassemble, and test pole mount transformers in a on-site facility. You will follow work orders, gather parts and tools, and ensure all steps meet safety and quality standards within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment. Candidates should have a HS diploma and experience with mechanical work; OSHA10 is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with mechanical work and transformers preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders to rebuild transformers per customer specs.
• Gather parts and tools needed for each work order and verify condition.
• Reconditioning and reassembly of pole mount transformers, including cleaning, inspecting components, replacing gaskets, and oil changes.
• Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before shipment.
• Use shop equipment and tools safely; return equipment to proper location after use.
• Operate overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and report hazards.
