Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Disassembler Technician to disassemble single phase and polemount transformers using hand and power tools. The role requires following work orders, gathering proper parts and tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include disassembling and sorting transformer parts for reuse or scrap, operating shop equipment safely, and keeping a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work orders.
• Gather parts and tools and ensure they are in good working condition before use.
• Disassemble and sort transformer parts for reuse and scrap.
• Use shop equipment safely and appropriately and return equipment to proper location after use.
• Material handling equipment may be needed to perform tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble transformers and sort parts for reuse or scrap.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently to meet production needs.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and report hazards.
• Support other departments as needed and learn cross-functionally.
