Qualifications

  • Entry-level position in OSP engineering, pole fielding or related telecom work.
  • Knowledge of NESC, NEC and telecom construction standards.
  • Familiarity with GIS/mapping tools and field data collection techniques.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed field surveys to assess pole conditions, attachments and cable routes.
  • Measure, photograph and document pole data including heights and clearances.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop cost-effective deployment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations for pole attachments.
  • Use GPS, GIS and mapping software to capture and report field data.
  • Communicate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to meet timelines.
