Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Utility Pole Assessment Foreman to lead daily field operations and supervise a crew performing pole assessments, maintenance and restoration. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer-facing professionalism on projects across the region.

The Foreman will mentor team members, manage productivity, and uphold company standards while coordinating with customers and utility representatives in a dynamic outdoor work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Previous leadership, crew lead, or foreman experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and work effectively with field crews.
• Ability to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as business needs require.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
• Perform utility pole assessments while following company standards and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe work practices and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and project updates accurately and timely.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
• Communicate professionally with customers, utility representatives, landowners, and community members.
• Support a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and accountability.
