Job summary

The Utility Pole Assessment Foreman at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. leads daily field operations and supervises a crew performing pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration activities.

You will ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to company standards, while representing Osmose professionally with customers and utility partners. The role requires strong leadership, the ability to train crew members, and frequent travel across local and regional sites.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate and train field crews.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles and tools.
  • Represent the company professionally and outdoors in variable weather.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
  • Perform utility pole assessments following safety procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments for efficient project completion.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
  • Complete required documentation and project updates timely.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders.
  • Support a positive team environment focused on safety and accountability.
