Job summary

The Utility Pole Assessment Foreman leads daily field operations for Osmose Utilities Services, Inc., supervising a crew performing pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration activities in challenging outdoor environments.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to ensure work is completed safely while meeting company and customer expectations. Opportunities for travel and career growth are available within a full-time, year-round program.

Qualifications

• Age 19 or older and capable of performing in field conditions.
• Demonstrated leadership, crew supervision, or foreman experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license with several years of driving experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness.
• Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as needed.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally 100).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
• Perform utility pole assessments following safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure timely project completion.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry standards.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
• Complete documentation and project updates accurately.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders.
• Support a positive, safe team environment.
