K & W finishing, inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced cutter operator to join its team. The ideal candidate will be able to set-up and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutters and other equipment such as Stahl Folder, Bobst Gluer, Moll Gluer, and more.

Successful applicants will have at least 5 years in the printing industry, be able to read and interpret instructions in English, and work well in a team. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in the printing industry.
• Ability to setup and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutter.

Job description

K & W finishing, inc., a print-finishing (bindery) company located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking an experienced cutter operator to join its team.

Successful candidates will have the ability to setup and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutters. The ideal candidate will be able to set-up and operate one or more additional pieces of equipment from the following list; Stahl Folder, Bobst Gluer, Moll Gluer, Heidelberg Saddle Stitcher, Heidelberg Cylinder Press (Die-Cut), Kluge, Brausse, Magestic, Bobst, Windmill, or small machines such as hi-die, round-corner, shrink-wrap, and drill.

Must be knowledgeable about many facets of print-finishing to understand how each job will need to be set-up and cut for folders, stitchers, etc.

Hours will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (day shift), overtime as available/necessary.

Salary based on experience and can-do attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years in the printing industry
