Modern Litho, a local, family-owned printing company with 85+ years of experience, seeks a Die Cutter Operator to set up and run a Bobst die-cutting machine, producing flyers, folders, cards and catalogs with precision.

You will follow job tickets, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with the print production team. A high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Must be quality-minded and pay attention to detail.
• 3 years experience operating machines; read die lines and tickets.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For

As a Die Cutter Operator, you will operate and maintain a Bobst die-cutting machine to transform printed sheets into finished high-quality products such as flyers, pocket folders, greeting cards, brochures, packaging materials, and catalogs. This process includes precision die-cutting, scoring, and perforating to ensure every project meets our quality standards. This exciting position allows you to showcase your machine operating experience, attention to detail, and craftsmanship while making a real impact on the products we deliver to our customers.

From Setup to Finish: Your Role in the Process

• Follow job tickets and written instructions to ensure each project meets customer specifications
• Set up and operate a Bobst die-cutting machine according to job ticket specifications

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot on cutting equipment

The Fine Print: What you need to Succeed

• Preferred 3 years experience operating machinesAbility to read and interpret job tickets, die lines, and written instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills, measuring skills, and computer proficiency
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, including overtime as needed

Your Production Schedule

• Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM -3:30 PM
