K & W finishing, inc. in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced cutter operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will set up and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutters and related finishing equipment to produce high-quality pieces.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 5 years in the printing industry. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime as needed; benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Job description

K & W finishing, inc., a print-finishing (bindery) company located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking an experienced cutter operator to join its team.

Successful candidates will have the ability to setup and operate Heidelberg Polar Paper Cutters. The ideal candidate will be able to set-up and operate one or more additional pieces of equipment from the following list; Stahl Folder, Bobst Gluer, Moll Gluer, Heidelberg Saddle Stitcher, Heidelberg Cylinder Press (Die-Cut), Kluge, Brausse, Magestic, Bobst, Windmill, or small machines such as hi-die, round-corner, shrink-wrap, and drill.

Must be knowledgeable about many facets of print-finishing to understand how each job will need to be set-up and cut for folders, stitchers, etc.

Hours will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (day shift), overtime as available/necessary.

Salary based on experience and can-do attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years in the printing industry
