Job summary

Rail Events Productions in Oklahoma City is seeking a Local Production Manager for THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride. This exempt/salary, seasonal role oversees all technical and operational aspects of the local event, coordinating cast, crew, staff and on-site communications with management.

Under the REP Director of Production and Production Manager, you will recruit local crew, manage schedules, source materials, monitor budgets, supervise lighting, audio, props, décor, wardrobe and food and

Qualifications

• Experience with production or stage management and managing special events.
• Ability to lead a large team in a live event setting.
• Strong leadership and independent work with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Willingness to support and bolster EOE policies.
• Be physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
• Must be 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations during events with on-site management.
• Recruit local crew for load in/out and run crew.
• Create and manage production staff schedules.
• Source materials and services with local vendors.
• Assist with budgets and expense tracking.
• Supervise lighting, audio, props, décor, wardrobe, and food/beverage.
• Serve as liaison between Rail Events Productions and on-site management.
• Collaborate with front of house to provide customer service.
• Plan logistics and oversee the load-out under REP guidance.
• Ensure staff adhere to safety rules.
• Maintain a positive environment for staff and passengers.
• Learn REP policies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
