Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia seeks an experienced Poker Room Supervisor to oversee daily poker room operations, ensuring game integrity and guest satisfaction in a busy casino environment.

You will develop staff, schedule promotions and tournaments, monitor performance, and maintain compliance with gaming regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Technical school education in dealing specified games.
• Must comply with state gaming regulations and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Controlling cards and equipment.
• Supervise and evaluate poker dealers’ performance.
• Develop staff, evaluate, hire and train.
• Assist with promotions and tournaments and monitor activites.
• Review poker room activities with the Director of Poker.
• Maintain excellent customer service and guest experience.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness
• Controlling cards and equipment
• Responsible for the supervision and performance of the poker dealers
• Development of staff, evaluating, hiring and training
• Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring with reviewing and managing the department’s promotions and tournaments
• Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker
• Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competition
• Excellent customer service
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
• Other duties as assigned

A Few Must Haves

• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with afour (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience

• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

Physical Requirements

• Casino is over 300,000 sq. ft. and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
• Sitting 5%

• Keyboarding 10%
• 24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness to meet the team members’ schedules when handling matters scheduling, team member relations and staffing.
• May be required to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to bend, squat and maneuver underneath Poker Tables
