Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Point of Care Coordinator to support clinical and laboratory teams across 2–3 hospital locations, ensuring accurate, timely testing and compliant patient care. You will oversee daily operations of the POC system, manage tickets, verify report accuracy, and train staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences or an AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with MT/ASCP certification.
• ND MT-L:ND license required.
• POC systems knowledge and ability to act as Lab POC SME.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily/weekly/monthly POC report production and distribution to hospital leadership.
• Manages the full lifecycle of POC support tickets and ensures secure user access.
• Coordinates POC equipment maintenance and serves as the laboratory representative for POC design and lifecycle management.
• Develops and enforces POC policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Directs training and continuing education of POC personnel and maintains audit-ready documentation.
• Provides CLIA/Technical Consultant oversight and regulatory sign-offs when qualified.
