The role emphasizes training and mentorship, with a focus on education, relationship-building, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification as MT/MLS/CP P or CPP per ASCP/AMT/AACC or HEW/HHS credentials.
• Bachelor's degree required; if MT achieved by Feb 28, 1992, an associate's degree may substitute.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate staff qualifications and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements for point-of-care testing.
• Lead training and competency programs for all POC operators and act as liaison with healthcare providers.
