Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver podiatric care in long-term care and senior living facilities. The NP will assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions while coordinating with facility staff.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth with a focus on patient mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree + completion of an accredited NP program (required).
• Active RN license + NP certification (ANCC or AANP required).
• 2-5 years’ experience in podiatry post-training (preferred).
• Long-term care/nursing home experience (preferred).
• BLS certification required ; ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education
• Collaborate with facility staff for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top outcomes
• Document visits in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad
