Premier Podiatry: Velimir Petkov, DPM in New Jersey is seeking a high-energy Medical Assistant to join our modern, family-friendly podiatry practice. We value warmth, positivity, and professionalism in every patient interaction.

You will handle clinical intake, document in the EHR, assist during exams, keep the clinic organized, and support front and back office. Schedule: four weekdays 9:00 AM–7:00 PM with alternating Saturdays 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical assistant experience required (podiatry experience is a strong plus).
• Certification as a medical assistant preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and personality.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and escort patients from reception to treatment rooms
• Perform thorough and efficient clinical intake and document in the EHR
• Prepare patients and assist the doctor during exams, procedures, and treatments
• Carry out select clinical tasks under physician direction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment
• Sterilize instruments and ensure adherence to all safety protocols
• Complete requisitions and coordinate specimen handling as needed
• Support front and back office operations as needed to maintain seamless workflow
