Desert Spine and Sports Physicians, PLLC is seeking a friendly, dependable Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice in Scottsdale. This full-time, in-person role involves rooming patients, assisting with examinations, preparing treatment rooms, and EMR documentation.

You will support patient education, scheduling, and follow-ups in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and comfort with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred; podiatry/orthopedic/surgical a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using EMR (eCW).
• Reliable, professional and compassionate with patients.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice. If you enjoy working with patients, thrive in a fast-paced medical environment, and take pride in providing exceptional care, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history
• Assist the physician with examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Apply and remove dressings, assist with wound care, and provide patient education
• Perform EMR documentation accurately and efficiently
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up
• Verify medications and update patient records
• Maintain inventory and stock exam rooms
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred (podiatry, orthopedic, or surgical experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR - eCW)
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate with patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday
• Day shift
• Possible 1 Saturday a month
