Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a part-time podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care facilities across Wisconsin Dells and surrounding communities. You will perform diagnosis, treatment, and preventive foot care, documenting encounters in NextGen EMR on an iPad.

We offer flexible scheduling, good patient volume from day one, and full benefits for W-2 roles. Prior experience in long-term care is valued, with a focus on autonomy and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain/licensure.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
